Head of the Artificial Intelligence Fund, CDP Venture Capital
A Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic (OMRI) and an Officer in the Italian Navy (selected reserve), proudly Italian, Vincenzo grew professionally in Silicon Valley.
Currently, he is the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Fund at CDP Venture Capital, with the goal of investing €500 Million to foster the growth of top Italian startups in the AI and cybersecurity sectors and to help create world-class tech champions.
He previously served as Head of Technological Innovation and Digital Transformation at INPS, where he led the team that introduced modern Artificial Intelligence technologies to enhance citizen services. Before that, he co-founded Conio, a startup specializing in cryptocurrency and digital asset management and custody, which secured investment from and integration with major Italian financial institutions. Vincenzo was also selected by the Ministry of Economic Development to join the expert group tasked with defining a national Blockchain strategy.
He holds a degree summa cum laude in Computer Engineering from the University of Bologna and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford.
